The club have released a statement from manager Mark Yates following an incident with a supporter following the defeat to Plymouth.

The statement on the Official Site reads.

‘I want to apologise for the use of bad language aimed at a supporter following yesterday’s match. My use of language was unacceptable and for anyone that I have offended, I am sorry.’

Yates explains that whilst leading the players over to thank the fans he saw one supporter approach ‘one of my players and swear and shout at him in a very agressive manner. The player in question had only come on as a sub with the score already at 2-0 and I am sorry to say I reacted to this supporter.’
