Cheltenham Town have within the last hour had to postpone the game against Wycombe Wanderers.

An early inspection of the playing surface at the Abbey Business Stadium was planned for 9am this morning following the recent weather and following an inspection from the match referee and head grounds man Terry Roberts, the decision has been taken to call the game off.

With the weather overnight and the continuing forecast, it was decided an early decision was in the best interests of fans, and ultimately the ground staff could’ve worked on fast forward and it’s still not guaranteed the game would’ve been passed safe at a later time in the day.

The club will announce further details shortly, and a new date for the re-arranged fixture will be announced following agreement between both clubs.
