John Ward has told his players they need to gain more points than last seasons total before talking about play offs.

The Robins are only 3 points behind a top six place even though they are currently 13th in League 2.

Ward said: ‘I think we’ve still got things to do, and we have to be aiming for a place in the play-offs come the end of the season, but there is no point thinking about it in October.’

Adding that survival is the first priority:

‘The first aim has to be getting enough points to survive, and when we have done that we will set our sights on overhauling last season’s points total. We’re in the infancy compared to some teams in this division but we can compete at the top end.’
