Mark Yates final piece of business today has been the capture of West Bromwich Albion youngster Kemar Roofe.

The 20 year old striker joins us on loan until January 4th and has been handed the No 23 shirt.

He has progressed through their youth ranks and is considered a big prospect by the Premiership side so it will be interesting to see what kind of impact he can have for us.

Roofe signed a new one year deal last summer and has previously spent time on loan in League Two with Northampton Town where he made five starting appearances with a further two from the bench.

Yates has been keeping an eye on him for a while apparently and had him watched a number of times over the past few years, and he will give us greater options up front because he can play in all position, but is predominantly left sided with two good feet.

Like the other two additions today, Roofe will be available for selection for this weekends game.

With three coming in, the manager has also taken the opportunity to get our youngster Ed Williams out for some first team action and he has joined Evesham United on a one month loan.

The 18 year old midfielder has been out on loan previously and had spells with Bishop’s Cleeve recently where he spent three months.

He will remain with them until January 4th and is eligible for their game this weekend.
