Jermaine McGlashan will now leave Cheltenham Town after informing the club last night that he would not be signing the new contract the club presented to him.

In his time with us, McGlashan made 116 appearances for the club and scored 13 times having moved to Whaddon Road in January 2012 from Aldershot Town.

The 26 year old struggled based on his standards last season, but he wasn’t alone there, and was one of the first offered a new deal by manager Mark Yates, however he informed the gaffer yesterday evening that he wouldn’t be taking that offer.

Having already said he was looking at options and targets, Yates will now follow his other options.
