James Wilson has been called up by the Welsh international team for their upcoming World cup qualifiers.

The defender in on loan from Bristol City and was initially on the stand by list for his country, but Chris Coleman has taken the step of calling up the 24 year old for the games against FYR Macedonia and Belgium.

This obviously means that Wilson will now no longer play a part in our League Two encounter this weekend away at Dagenham and Redbridge.

This was set to be his last game on loan with us, so we’ll have to see what happens in terms of any potential extensions.

Since joining us, he has so far made four appearances for Cheltenham and helped us to keep one clean sheet.
