Italian winger Raffaele De Vita has signed a three month deal at Cheltenham Town.

De Vita may be best known for his spell and goals at Swindon Town when they won the League Two title, and he’s cut short birthday celebrations to sign for Cheltenham after we gave the 27 year old a short term offer after he was released by Bradford City over the summer.

Speaking to the Official Site manager Mark Yates explained about the capture.

‘Raffa will offer us something different, he will add versatility, he works hard and can nick a goal. He’s a very decent player who I’ve liked for a long time.’

Yates goes on to say that over the summer there has been a few clubs interested in his services but nothing quite happened with them, so we’ve had the chance to nip in and offer him the deal until the New Year year.

He joins us without a pre season so although he’s with us now, he’s not in contention straight away because we have to get his fitness up to scratch first.
