Cheltenham Town have secured the loan signing of Mitch Brundle from Bristol City until the end of the season.

The 19 year old centre half has now fully completed the details of his loan move to us until the end of the campaign, and he’s set to meet his new team mates for the first time tomorrow.

He joins in time, and the paperwork all went through, for him to be in line potentially for his club debut in the game against Northampton Town.

Speaking to the Official Site manager Mark Yates said of the deal.

‘We needed some more defensive cover just in case. Bristol City have been very good, as has Steve Cotterill so we are delighted Mitch has joined us.’

Brundle came through the youth ranks at Yeovil Town, but joined the Ashton Gate outfit back in the summer of 2013. He’s very highly rated at the club and they are welcoming the opportunity to get him out for some real first team action now, and their gaffer is confident he will develop well at our club.

Should he play this weekend, he will also be making his first professional appearance in the Football League.
