Manager Mark Yates has also loaned out Zack Kotwica for more first team action.

Fresh on the heels of Ed Williams going out for a spell on loan, Cheltenham have also now revealed that Zack has head to Gloucester City for a month to get more first team action under his belt.

The 17 year old is highly rated by the staff at the club and has been heavily involved with the first team squad this season, and whilst he’s only made one start, he has made a further eleven appearances from the bench in all competitions.

Speaking about the winger the gaffer explained that it was important at this stage of his development to get some real games and real football under his belt as sub appearances only bring a player on so much, they really need a full 90 minutes and a run.

As part of the deal, he will also still continue playing youth games for Cheltenham in their FA Cup campaign as well.
